Union Models for Model Families: Efficient Reasoning over Space and Time

چکیده

A model family is a set of related models in given language, with commonalities and variabilities that result from evolution over time and/or variation intended usage (the spatial dimension). As the size increases, it becomes cumbersome to analyze individually. One solution represent using one global supports analysis. In this paper, we propose concept union as complete concise representation all members family. We use graph theory formalize attributed typed graphs which are same metamodel. The formalized elements These annotated their corresponding versions configurations. This formalization independent modeling language used. also demonstrate how can be used perform reasoning tasks on families, e.g., trend analysis property checking. Empirical results suggest potential time-saving benefits when for at once opposed separately analyzing single time.

Generalized Union Bound for Space-Time Codes

⎯Gallager’s second bounding technique, also known as the generalized union bound, is employed to derive a new upper bound on the error probability of space-time codes with maximum-likelihood (ML) decoding on quasi-static Rayleigh fading channels. The new bound is distinguished by two characteristics: unlike the classical union bound, the new bound is rapidly convergent and is only a few decibel...

Model-based time-distorted Contexts for efficient temporal Reasoning

Intelligent systems continuously analyze their context to autonomously take actions. Building a proper knowledge representation of the context is key to take adequate actions. This requires context models, e.g. formalized as ontologies or meta-models. As these systems evolve in dynamic contexts, reasoning processes typically need to analyze and compare the current context with its history. A co...

Bayesian Reasoning Over Models

A crucial part of verifying and validating models is the identification of inconsistencies. Inconsistencies can exist whenever models overlap semantically. Such overlaps are predominant in model-driven engineering, where the use of multiple viewpoints leads to a variety of incomplete representations of one or more aspects of a system. While the commonly employed rule-based approaches to identif...

Rugby: (a) union of space and time

The use of computer software as an aid to rugby, and sports coaching in general, is well established. Videoed sport is the most widely used form of raw data for sports analysis, though it is currently not being used to its full potential. Patterns of player movement and position, both for individuals and groupings of players, are important for understanding the complexities of professional team...

Reasoning in Time and Space

This paper describes a new approach to representing and reasoning with temporal and spatial information. A wide variety of temporal and spatial specifications can be converted into linear inequalities relating the midpoints of events or boundary surfaces of objects respectively, Linear programming is then used to represent these constraints and perform deductions. The temporal information is mo...
